MOSTECA#1 Morning Session I: ‘La sombra del nogal’

The first morning session of MosTeca 2026 opens with La sombra del nogal, a documentary that takes us into the world of haute cuisine and reminds us that culinary excellence can go hand in hand with a commitment to preserving and defending local roots in a village of just 36 inhabitants in the Pre-Pyrenees of Huesca. We will be joined by the film’s director, Manuel García Gil.

The documentary was selected for the official programme of the 2026 Málaga Film Festival and has already won the Best Cinematography Award at the Ambrosia Film Festival (Moscow) and the Best Documentary Award at the Sorrento Food & Film Festival.
