About the movie

You have to be a little crazy —or, at the very least, stubborn— to grow vines in Priorat. In this region of Catalonia, which could seem straight out of Jules Verne’s The Lost World, the vines must draw moisture from the rocks to survive, and almost all the work is done by hand. Patrick Pochon’s hands bear the marks of this labour. Together with his team, this former bank partner from Valais, Switzerland, makes wines from this exceptional terroir, one of the most renowned and historically rich in Catalonia.
