Wine Tasting of “trobat blanc”+ Book presentation

A very special tasting that also includes the presentation of the book La varietat trobat. Visió històrica, caracterització vitícola i aptituds enològiques, a new publication exploring the white Trobat grape variety, a grape at risk of extinction that has been cultivated in Catalonia since the 16th century.

The presentation by the authors, members of the Vitis Catalana research group, will be followed by a tasting of wines from the only three wineries in Catalonia working with this grape variety: Celler dels Panals, Mas del Botó and La Gravera. We will also taste a wine made from the black Trobat grape by the L’Olivera cooperative. This variety has also been recovered, particularly in the Costers del Segre DO region.
