A harvest-season screening celebrating the importance of listening to and learning from oral history.

With Vides velles, we reunite with filmmaker Clara Isamat, one of the leading figures in Catalan wine cinema over the past fifteen years of Most. On this occasion, Isamat, together with winegrower Jordi Esteve, takes us to Rabós, in the Alt Empordà region, where we hear the testimonies of three winegrowers who devoted part of their lives to tending the vineyards in this corner of the Empordà. We do so against the backdrop of vineyard landscapes that have all but disappeared and will never return.

With Montse. La penúltima bodega, we pay tribute to something on the verge of disappearing: the traditional wine bars of Barcelona’s Raval neighbourhood. The film’s three directors take us into the unique world of Bodega Montse, founded in the Raval in 1893 and now kept alive by Xavi Quintano. A genuinely good man, he recalls past hardships and bygone days with quiet acceptance as he carefully cleans anchovies. The film received two Silver Biznaga awards at the 2026 Málaga Film Festival: the Audience Award and the Jury Award for Best Short Film.

The session will be attended by Clara Isamat and Jorid Esteve, director of Vides velles, and David Salvador and Víctor Solsona, directors of Montse. La penúltima bodega.

Afterwards, a glass of sparkling wine will be served, courtesy of Gramona.
