Call for entries for the Collita and Brot strands of the 2019 edition are now open


Most Wine & Cava International Film Festival is now accepting submissions to its 2019 competition for the Collita (“Vintage”) and Brot (“Bud”) strands. Submissions are free and the call for entries will remain open until July 15, 2019. Submitted films must have been completed after January 1, 2017. The ninth edition of the festival will be held from November 7 to 17 in Vilafranca del Penedès, and from November 27 to December 1 in the Priorat region.

Collita (“Vintage”)
The 2019 Collita (“Vintage”) strand is open to all types of audiovisual work, of any duration, and from any country, related to the world of wine and cava from any angle (promotional, artistic, educational, touristic, scientific, documentary, narrative, etc.)

Films competing in the Collita strand are eligible for the following seven awards:
Grand Jury Prize (€ 3,000 prize)
Catalan Wine Award (€ 1,500 prize)
International Projection Award (€ 1,500 prize)
Best Documentary Award
Best Fiction Film Award
Best Advertisement Award
Arrels (“Roots”) Award

Brot (“Bud”)
The Brot (“Bud”) strand seeks the best national short film productions of any format, subject and genre (fiction, documentary, animation, etc.). Films must have a maximum duration of 20 minutes (including credits).

Films competing in the Brot strand are eligible for the following awards:
Jury Prize (€ 1,000)
Audience Award (€ 1,000)
Young Jury Award
