2019, time to (re) discover Galicia, guest country in the Most Festival’s ninth season. The cultural wealth of Celta reveals its appeal for cinema and tasting spaces to the Most, culminating with a meal in the street on the last Sunday with Galicia’s most typical cuisine.
Xoán Cannas, a reference sommelier in his homeland, is in charge of revealing the values of the different terroirs of Galicia’s vineyards and wines with an indispensable wine tasting.
Ana Domínguez and Ángel Rueda, the directors of the Peripheral Cinema Show in A Coruña, will celebrate their 10 years of life with us, in an intense short film by Galician filmmakers who interpret the profound roots of their country through bold cinematic language.
Filmmakers Oliver Laxe and Diana Toucedo are ambassadors for new Galician cinema, through screening the films ‘O que arde’ and ‘Trinta lumes’.
The richness of Galician wine culture will also be revealed in the Collita section, with the premiere of Pablo Alonso González’s latest documentary. Finally, a great festive meal out on the street will allow you to enjoy the pleasures of Galician cuisine, an ideal time for a farewell toast with its best wines on the festival’s last day.
