Later, the Romans built Bacchus Castle in the fertile Bekaa Valley. This episode explores Lebanon’s oldest modern winery and its French roots, tracing how winemaking survived civil war and reached global markets. Despite new conflicts, an explosion and economic collapse, small wineries have survived, keeping Lebanon’s winemaking spirit alive.
