Three short works that will make us reflect on the effects of the climate emergency on the vineyard: the floods of the Valencian Dana, the concern of Italian winegrowers to combat climate change and the life experience of a young winegrower with the threat of unpredictable weather phenomena that endanger his vineyard in Calabria.
The session will feature the intervention of Pablo Bellver, director of Vides embarradas (Spain, 2025), and Soazig Darnay, member of the Centre Forestal Científic i Tecnològic (CTFC), who will introduce us to the Fire Wine project, a label that aims to distinguish those winegrowers who consciously work to maintain the firewall function of their vineyards located in forest environments.
At the end, a glass of must will be offered courtesy of Mulet Viticultors. With the support of the Escola Agrària de Viticulture i Oenologia Mercè Rossell.
