Hits Most Nouvelle Vague: ‘Breathless’

The second session of the Hits Most dedicated to the Nouvelle Vague is the protagonist of the film whose shooting takes Richard Linklater as the plot in his latest film, present in this year’s Gran Reserva section.

Breathless (1960), written and directed by Jean-Luc Godard from an idea by François Truffaut, it stars two film stars from the sixties: the French Jean-Paul Belmondo and the American Jean Seberg.

Truffaut himself said the following about the film: “There are films that don’t look like anything that has been done before: Citizen Kane, Hiroshima mon amour and Breathless.”

At the end of the screening, a glass of sparkling wine will be offered, courtesy of Corpinnat.
